BTW - Happy Birthday to MLK today! I've been teaching my students about him all week and I just LOVE how they react when they hear about segregation. They are floored that it could have existed. And today, when I asked what they would say to MLK if he walked into our classroom - one my my kiddos said, "I'd give him a hug and say 'Thank You!'" Ummmm - cutest thing ever!
