Let's Fly a Kite

Confession: I don't really enjoy flying kites.

There I said it. It's not that they're not fun…in general…they're just not fun for me. My kite always manages to get tangled, stuck in a tree, or can't seem to find the wind to lift it. Let's face it - I'm a failure at flying kites.

New Items & a Teacher's Notebook Giveaway

I actually had Friday off because of ice. It was our first "Snow Day" all year - not bad for an Indiana Winter. I spent most of my day in my classroom…pretty sure I could spend a week there and still not get everything finished. I also spent some time working on a few new collections!

I thought these would be fun for an upcoming birthday…for a certain author. ;)

What are you doing for Presidents' Day? We have the day off of school, which is AWESOME! Love three day weekends! I'll be spending my extra day at home chasing a 3 year old and a 1 year old (most likely going up and down stairs ALL day). And I may brave a visit to my classroom…which always ends with my classroom in shambles and getting absolutely nothing accomplished - except that I wear my children out.
